What we preceive as reality is a construct of the mind.

Knowledge

Almost all knowledge derives from experience.

Consider some of the things children learn:

  • They learn that others are people like they are;
  • They learn that things may continue to exists even when they are no longer seen;
  • They learn that things don’t get bigger or smaller when they are reshaped.

Before suggesting that a great deal can be learned a-priori, realize how much of our fundamental knowledge is learned.
